Parking
Day 6: We made it! The red dot is our parking spot. There are 360 spots in the green square. I estimate we'll be in a sea of 9,000 RVs! I'll take a photo once the lots are full.

Day 5: Dusk in Quartzsite, AZ. It's a town of 3,000 that grows to 1,000,000 during some crazy gem/mineral show.

Raising Arizona!

For the next ten days I'll be on the road from Portland to Phoenix where I'll be watching my first ever live NASCAR race. Does anyone have some earplugs I can borrow? Oh wait...that's kinda gross...nevermind. :) I'll try to post a few shots at the end of each day. The plan is to take the train from Portland down to my hometown of Klamath Falls, where I'll connect with my parents. We'll cruise the rest of the way in their home away from home. After the race, I'll fly back up to Portland...so that covers travel by land...air...and where we're going I can forget about travel by water.

Jeff & Amy

Here's another vineyard wedding from a while back. Jeff and Amy were married at Youngberg HIll Vineyards & Inn which is about 45 minutes from Portland. This location has one of the most spectacular views I've seen in wine country, and this day definitely did it justice.

These two were so laid back that I can honestly say photographing their wedding was a relaxing experience. You could even use the term "therapeutic." :) Like the previously posted wedding, these families came from out of state, and even out of country! It's clear to me after this season, that Oregon is such a place of beauty that it's attracting visitors for destination events and I can't wait to watch how that trend continues.

Jeff and Amy...thanks again for being so easy to work with! I really felt as if all I had to do was hang out and snap a few photos (okay...we took way more than a few, but it was fun). :)
