andrew & shannon
engagement session season is in full swing! i went to the coast last weekend to meet up with andrew and shannon. as i was approaching cannon beach, i wondered what the heck i was going to do this time. i've been out there a couple times and i like to keep things fresh with every shoot. the beach is the obvious "go to" spot, but the wind was enough to flip umbrellas inside out and the rain was...well, let's just say i'm happy my camera didn't short out. it forced us inland and it worked out perfectly!
we roamed around downtown, did some window shopping, found a coffee shop and found a bike to rent. andrew and shannon were really flexible and put up with the weather so well. they definitely helped turn this into some of my best work out there yet! everything else was perfect too. the clouds softened the light, window light made for great contrast in the coffee shop (which was perfectly moody inside), and the bike made for some fun compositions.
